Leather Types

Lixra offers leather furniture in three types of leather

Bonded Leather

Bonded Leather

This is a cattle leather and engineered to provide finish and color. It is recommended for customers with big families and with pets.  Bonded leather works well on furniture in high-traffic areas like family room or even living room and is environment friendly. It is cheaper than all leather options provided by Lixra.

Top Grain Italian Leather

Top Grain Italian Leather

This is a genuine top grain cattle leather made in Italy which has visible grains. It is called Italian leather because of the tanning method using natural, vegetable ingredients that has been invented in the Tuscan tanneries in Italy. This is what makes the leather resistant, elastic and smooth. This is long lasting leather and when maintained properly can last even for decades. This is Lixra recommended leather.

Nappa Leather

Nappa Leather

Nappa leather is top-quality leather that undergoes a unique tanning process and is softer and more pliable than most hides.

It was named for the Napa Valley in California, where the tanning company that developed it was located. Nappa leather is often used in upscale vehicles like Porsche, Rolls-Royce, Mercedes, BMW, etc.
