This clock fits well in our kitchen on our wall pillar. It's large face allows us to easily view the time of day from our roomy kitchen and family room combined. It has provided excellent time so far. It is not entirely silent, but one has to be close to hear the movement. The item came packaged well and in good shape, was easy to place on the wall, and exactly as pictured on lixra's site. I get so many compliments on it, just what I was looking for...
